Winter adventures on the land

Winter of 2012/2013 was not particularly severe or snowy.  But there was still enough to enjoy once in a while.

Zach and I went cross-country skiing back deep into the woods.

Jake and I built a jump and did a little shredding.

Late that winter, we contracted with a shady logger outfit to harvest a conservative select cut of mature walnut trees.

Then I shot out to Vermont to shred Jay Peak with the bros, out to Chicago for the Big Ten men's bball Championship, and over to Shanghai for 9 days for work.  Was good to stay home after that stretch.
