All. The. Way.

Full certificate of occupancy is in hand. I can't even. Just SO relieved to close out our building permit, and that the last couple stressful weeks of final push have all been worth it.

The main thing outstanding on our permit was completion of our master bathroom. We went for the temporary C of O back in May after it became clear how many hours of work were left in there.  Over a thousand subway tiles later... There was still so much to do, haha. Frankly, there still is, but our inspector is awesome and approves based on code minimums and a healthy of trust for what will still be completed. Thanks, Rick!

So about a month ago, we opened the door to the master bath and found it basically just like we had left it way back in May!  Oof.

Lots of tiles up, but that's about it. So our good buddy Sebastien was put back on the job!

He finished cutting and fitting all the remaining tiles and called in another buddy to get things grouted and caulked.

Then he got a bit busy and the last couple of days got crazy. Cleaning up and sealing the grout takes longer than I thought!

Replacement vinyl threshold as a shower border.  Curtain rod is made from 1/2" conduit. Can you tell we were on a time crunch and stingy budget?  Lol.

Still need to paint and accessorize.

But it was all for this!

Time to get some sleep, and re-prioritize things back on our own terms. Feeling thankful!  Love to all.
